Treasure Chamber for Automobilia, Memorabilia and Nostalgia

Whether badges, hood ornaments, historic pedal cars or advertising gifts from all eras - the TECHNO-CLASSICA with its unsurpassed offer is regarded by connoisseurs as the world's meeting point for discriminating collectors of automobilia.

Often it is the small but nice things which are fascinating and can tell stories itself. And they are always also a piece of contemporary history, showing how the automobile is shaping society since 120 years, outside of garage, carport, road and race course.

The bandwidth of automobilia is large: whether noble dressing case with crystal flacons from the nineteen-twenties, the vase of flowers for the Beetle from the nineteen-fifties or the plastic ashtray from the nineteen-seventies - there is nothing that does not exist. The bandwidth of the collectors and hunters has the same size: whether the hobby is the giveaways of an individual company of an era, whether it is a matter of a preferably complete collection of Top Trumps or enamel plates - or simply just the appropriate decoration for the home workshop: also people with a collector's instinct and a weakness for the automobile who do not necessarily need to have an exhibition hall filled with classic cars will certainly find the appropriate small but nice things around the classic automobile.

It is particularly worth mentioning the new performance of the auction house Seidel & Friedrich, meanwhile a well-established address for automobilia. The exhibitors from Ladenburg present some spectacular lots of the upcoming auction on 25/26 April 2008 - for example the almost complete collection of the former Porsche works driver Herbert Linge with cups, race programmes, unique photos, and even complete action plans for the legendary racing film "Le Mans". Visitors of the fair will not only get the current auction catalogue but also initial information for the auction next year in Essen: the auction house then plans at the TECHNO-CLASSICA an auction with unique copies from the inheritance of the Wanderer family…

Those dealers engaged in automobilia are mainly concentrated by the S.I.H.A in halls 1, 4 and 6. Here you will particularly find the professionals offering almost exclusivly automobilia. More flea market flair can be found at the TECHNIO-COLLECTA Open Air (for details please see the corresponding chapter). However, visitors will find stands also in the other halls of the TECHNO-CLASSICA with vendors offering automotive rarities - often just alongside. It is worth to stroll around with open eyes through the 20 trade fair halls of the TECHNO-CLASSICA.
