At TECHNO-CLASSICA 2012, Ford has four reasons for celebration: 60 years of Ford "Weltkugel" (globe), 50 years of Ford Taunus 12 M (P4), 40 years of Ford Granada and 30 years of Ford Sierra. Different exhibits will be on display of each model series, being the leading actors of the jubilee celebration. The non-profit organization "Lebenshilfe Gießen e.V." will initially present to the public one of their raffle vehicles for 2012, a Ford Taunus 12 M (P4), at the exhibition stand of the Ford club in Essen. 18 historic vehicles can be admired on the Ford area. Together with the four anniversary cars Ford "Weltkugel", Ford Taunus 12 M (P4), Ford Granada and Ford Sierra, one Ford OSI, two Ford Escort (one Ford Escort Mexiko MK I and one Ford Escort MKII BDA RS 1800), one Ford Capri III true to original as well as one Ford Fiesta MK III will be presented.

The Ford club exhibition stand of almost 700 square metres in hall 3 of this year's TECHNO-CLASSICA again offers a full entertainment programme, and with its decoration themed "European Football Championship" attracts not only automobile enthusiasts, but also football fans.

The Wheel of Fortune will rotate for 15 minutes every hour on the hour: For a donation for the vintage car fundraising campaign of the "Lebenshilfe Gießen", each visitor can win one of the attractive Ford souvenirs - for example the DVD issued in October 2011: "And the line continues to run... 80 years of Ford production in Cologne - a historic film tour", the sought-after poster of Ford's automobile history, a German car flag by Ford, Ford pins and many more...

A quiz for visitors will again be another activity of Ford's historic presentation in 2012 at TECHNO-CLASSICA. "The winner gets an invitation for a site visit at our Cologne Ford factory and an exclusive guided tour through our Ford Classic Car department", explains Helga Müller, responsible for the club assistance with Ford.
Furthermore, biscuits are baked for the visitors on all days of the show from 2 pm.
