SEAT, having its residence in Martorell, around 30 kilometres from Barcelona, belongs to the Volkswagen Group since 1986. The company established on 9th May 1950 as Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo, S.A. ("Spanish Company for Passenger Cars") in the Barcelona industry park, the Zona Franca, manufactures passenger cars since 1953. After an absence of three years, the Spanish brand exhibits this year again at TECHNO-CLASSICA in hall 7.

At the time this information went to press, the exact selection of the exhibits presented at the SEAT stand was not yet determined. However, the presentation will be themed "Motor Sports" in an analogy to the theme of Volkswagen. SEAT is active in motor sports for many years -with four world championship titles alone in the World Rally Championship (WRC) are registered in the successful balance.
