VIP, Preview day March 26.

20th TECHNO-CLASSICA ESSEN from 26 to 30 March 2008:
The Classic Fair of the Superlatives

Specialised spare part trade instead of flea market

More than 300 vendors come up with a well-assorted range of spare parts at the TECHNO-CLASSICA - from Alfa Romeo to Zagato - including tools and products fro restoration, maintenance and care of classic automobiles.

The most important professional vendors at home and abroad show their offers at the classic world fair, just like the vendors of accessories, care products and tools. These include such renowned companies as Münchner Oldtimer Reifen GmbH, H.E. Niemöller, Veteranen Laden, Classic Parts, Del Priore, Gruppo Ricambi and Lamberti. How serious the manufacturers regard the presence at the TECHNO-CLASSICA is shown by the fact that some manufacturers are showing their colours either with a company stand or with an official representation. Amongst them are for instance the care product manufacturers Swizöl and Sonax, the tool company Hazet, Dinosaurier Werkzeuge, the company for tools and standard parts Würth and Fertan, manufacturer of anti-corrosion agents. The S.I.H.A. has arranged the exhibition halls No. 2, 5 and 8 as centres for the stands with spare parts, tools and care products for classic automobiles and many special vendors for do-it-yourselfers are represented also in hall 9.
The increase of foreign exhibitors is significant: companies as Colas or Christoph Pund from France, Classical Dash and Rimer Bros. from Great Britain, Rubber Fil. from Italy and Christoph Grohe from Switzerland with particularly high-class and selected rarities stand for the many vendors from Europe and overseas, emphasizing the part of the TECHNO-CLASSICA as world fair of the classic scene.

Everything required for the "most rusty hobby of the world" is available at the TECHNO-CLASSICA: from a simple screwdriver for screws with thread measured in inches to complete CNC turning machines to carbide lamps for veteran cars, from polishing wax to a fine thread cutter to a wing for the Morris Minor - everything clearly arranged.

Lovers of classic automobiles will here find everything they have previously searched for a long time - clearly arranged. However it lacks the excitement of looking for hours for rare parts as at a flea market, but the visitors of the TECHNO-CLASSICA will save a lot of time - being able to spend by leading inspiring petrol discussions with like-minded people and to admire with delight the highlights of the fair.
